You have many good reasons to become a Certified Nursing Assistant: lot of certified nursing assistant programs available, the choices in the workplace, the fulfillment of making a difference in people’s lives every day, and the opportunity to earn a good living. The average nursing assistant earns about $ 30 000 annually.
Training can be completed in as little as two weeks by a hospital or nursing, or take up to 3 or 4 months through a training program for community colleges. Once the training and licensing is complete, a Certified Nursing Assistant can see an average salary starting from $ 11 per hour and $ 14 per hour.
The type of position and training will affect the profit. Hospitals are usually the highest salary, followed by nursing homes, patients’ homes.
