North Smithfield’s Kiernan is projoGameTime athlete of the week
Senior All-State forward Kayla Kiernan became the career scoring leader for Interscholastic League girls hockey. She scored six goals in two games over the weekend to increase her four-year total to 100, breaking the record of 96 set by former Lincoln School star Mary Rogers.
In this week’s game of the week, Division III-South leading East Greenwich plays host to the III-North leading Johnson in a 7 o’clock boys basketball game Wednesday night.
